This product WORKS! I bought it a year ago for my son & daughter law’s “emergency” themed baby shower basket. What I didn’t foresee was the reality of it—that tonight my 1yr old grandson is alive ONLY because of it!He choked on a tiny bit of french fry while in his car seat. He got some of it up vomiting but the rest was lodged deeper. I thank God that my son heard the Spirit’s prompting and got off the road ASAP to use it. He tried to dislodge the food several times to no avail, and the baby was starting to go blue. Quickly my son took the choke rescuer (stored under the passengers seat) used it as directed, and right away-the very first time- the mooshy fry bit popped right out!I’m thankful now that I spent the money on this life saving gift (because honestly I did debate about it since it was so pricey!) And I’m sooooo happy my son remembered it was there to use!I’m also grateful to whoever designed this thing to be SO easy to work, that even when you’re stressed out or scared, you can STILL easily know what to do! What a gift of life! I can only imagine how I would have felt tonight if I had decided it hadn’t been “worth” the $$ buying it for the basket, and bought a bunch of useless Onsies and powder instead.An emergency kit might not be the cutest basket at the shower, but it will be the only basket I make again for anyone in the future.

This device works! Today LifeVac saved our daughter’s life.Our 8 week old daughter has a very severe form of reflux that causes her trachea to close shut and she can’t breathe. She’s had over a dozen episodes and this was the worst one. We’re typically able to clear her airway with a EMS/Rescue vacuum pump but today it wasn’t enough.What you’re going to see in this video is a compilation of videos from our security camera. At first we run to the car because the LifeVac is in the trunk but it was locked. I laid my daughter on the hood of the car and used the LifeVac. She was seconds from me starting CPR. It took 3 attempts to pull all of the formula out and open her airway. When I had picked her up in the video I had finished the third pump/pull and she had started breathing.I’ve been a 911 dispatcher for over 16 years and I’ve walked hundreds of people through CPR and Heimlich maneuver. My 16 month old was playing at my feet with a hair product container and got the lid caught in his throat. After trying to get it out with back thrusts we realized it was lodged too far back to reach and that time was running out before we got into needing a paramedic to save his life. Thankfully I had this product nearby and my husband was able to use it on our son and it pulled the lid out of his throat so that we could then grab it out of his mouth. I have no doubts that this saved his life. I bought it when he started eating solids at 6 months just in case and it sat in the cabinet since then as we’ve never needed it until today. I am so thankful I bought this back then! I am buying two more for our vehicles and I’ll be buying them for family as well.

I originally purchased this product for the home because I have children and an elder parent. However, out precious dog, Charlie started to choke on a snack and I remembered that I had this device. I picked him up and ran to the room. I put the device together and pumped it twice. On the second pump, I felt the suction pressure and he started to breath! My children and I are SO grateful for this product. It saves human lives, but it also saved our precious pet’s life too! Thank God! 💜 🐶 I just had to write this review today!

I bought this item a few years ago after my daughter did a swallow study and we found out she can’t swallow well at all and had to switch her to tube feeds. My daughter is cognitively and physically disabled. Today, my other daughter left her hot dog out and my disabled daughter must have gotten into it, we didn’t see it happen, we only saw her choking. We were able to get the hot dog out within seconds. This device saved my daughter today.
